Stevie Cameron

One of Canada's finest investigative journalists and winner of numerous awards for political writing, Stevie Cameron is now living almost full-time in Vancouver while assembling material for her upcoming book, The PigFarm. This work-in-progress deals with the complex challenge of writing about poverty, the failure of the public systems to protect systems to protect people, the inside story of brutal serial murders and the agony of the families whose loved ones have disappeared.

Currently Stevie Cameron is writer-at-large at The Globe and Mail, a contributing editor at Maclean’s, and a monthly columnist at ElmStreet magazine, of which she was founding editor. Over her career she has been a host of CBC Television’s the fifth estate, and a contributor to many national magazines and newspapers.

She has also written four books including Ottawa Inside Out, On the Take, Blue Trust and The Last Amigo. Having received a certificate at Cordon Bleu in Paris, Torontonian Stevie Cameron is as much at home in the kitchen as she is at the typewriter.
