Moose Jaw,
Saskatchewan, Canada ![]() Donna Caruso has worked in the arts since 1980 as a writer for radio, stage, musicals, film and print, as a film and video producer/director, and as a performer. In recent years, she has produced the TV series, Life Without Borders, and The Clothesline, which was adapted for a CBC radio broadcast in 2005. Donna’s first book of short stories was published in 1999, and a new manuscript, Journey Without a Map, is in the works. Donna’s films include some twenty documentaries. She lives in Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan, where she pines for the hillsides of Italy where her mother raised sheep and grew olives and nuts. Donna often writes about her family. She always feeds the audience when giving a reading of her work, because, "It’s the Italian thing to do." Donna believes that writing is the scariest thing a person can do with the lights on. |
