C.R.A.Z.Y. received the Golden Reel Award at the 26th Annual Genie Awards.  The Golden Reel Award is presented to the Canadian film that earns the highest domestic box office revenue of the year.  This Special Award was presented at the 26th Annual Genie Awards on March 13th, 2006. 

C.R.A.Z.Y. grossed over $6.2 million in Canada during the qualifying period of January 1st, 2005 to December 31st, 2005.  C.R.A.Z.Y. is a mystical and whimsical fable about the human soul told through a comedic portrait of a family, and in particular, one young man. 

With 12 nominations at this year's Genie Awards and the Golden Reel Award, C.R.A.Z.Y. has not only achieved popular success but has also garnered critical acclaim from the film industry at large. Produced by Pierre Even and produced and directed Jean-Marc Vallée.
