How to Get to Moose Jaw:

By Road:   We are right on the Trans-Canada highway approximately 200 miles north of the Canada-U.S. border (49th parallel) and midway between Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Calgary, Alberta. There are major highways running north and south (into the United States).

By Air:   Regina, located 70 km east of Moose Jaw, has the closest commercial airport serviced by WestJet, Air Canada and NorthWest Airlines.  Hobo Express provides a shuttle service several times a day between Moose Jaw and Regina.  Phone 1-877-828-4626.

Many accommodation establishments in Moose Jaw report that they have very limited space available during July. We encourage anyone interested in attending this year's Saskatchewan Festival of Words to book their accommodation as soon as possible. If you are not already registered for the Festival or still undecided about attending this event, please book anyway to avoid disappointment.

Parking Information:

There is no charge for metered parking on Saturdays in Moose Jaw.

Free Parking Around Crescent Park:
        Athabasca St. East (North side of Crescent Park)
        3rd Ave. N.E.  (East side of Crescent Park)
        St. Andrew's Church Lot - west of Church on Athabasca St. E.

Metered or Parking Lots:
        Langdon Crescent (West side of Crescent Park)
        Fairford St. E.
        Cordova St.

All venues are within one block of Crescent Park -- the Festival hub

Crescent Park
        Located a block east of Main Street between Fairford St. E and Athabasca St. E.
Moose Jaw Public Library and Art Museum
        Located in Crescent Park, just off Athabasca St. E.
Peacock Auditorium
        One block east of Main Street on Ross St. E.
Cosmo Hall
        On the corner of Fairford St. E. and 3rd Ave. N.E.
Temple Gardens Mineral Spa
        One-half block east of Main Street on Fairford St. E.
Timothy Eaton Centre
        Located at 510 Main Street North.
