Steven Galloway 

Steven Galloway is the author of two novels.  His first novel, Finnie Walsh, was nominated for the Amazon.com / Books in Canada First Novel Award, and was reissued in the fall of 2005.  His second novel, Ascension, was published in Canada by Knopf Canada in 2003 and was nominated for the Ethel Wilson Fiction Prize. It has since been published in ten countries, optioned for film and serialised on CBC Radio's "Between the Covers."

Steven grew up in Kamloops, BC.  He attended the University of British Columbia, where he received a Masters Degree in Creative Writing.  He currently lives in Vancouver, where he teaches fiction at UBC and Simon Fraser University.
