Gerald Hill is a writer, editor and teacher in Regina. Born and raised in southern Saskatchewan, he has a special interest in the province’s culture, landscape and history. Widely published in literary journals and anthologies, he has published three books of poetry—the third of which, Getting to Know You, won the Saskatchewan Book Award for Poetry in 2004—and one nonfiction work, Their Names Live On: Remembering Saskatchewan’s Fallen in World War II (with Doug Chisholm). His fourth poetry
collection, My Human Comedy, will appear in April, 2008, and his fifth, 14 Tractors, in 2009. Since September of 2003 he’s been the
poetry editor of Grain magazine. |
