Shelley Leedahl

Shelley Leedahl is a Saskatoon writer of fiction, poetry, children’s literature and nonfiction.  She frequently presents in schools and libraries across Canada, works as an editor, freelances for a variety of markets and has served as instructor for the Sage Hill Youth Writing Camp in Moose Jaw and Saskatoon.  

She is one of five Canadian writers participating in the 2002/2003 Canada-Mexico Photography/Writing Exchange. She received a John V. Hicks Manuscript Award for Orchestra of the Lost Steps. The Bone Talker, a children’s book, was recognized with the Rocky Mountain Book Award in 2001.
