William Marsden is an author, documentary maker and investigative journalist at The Gazette in Montreal. He is the author of the national bestseller Stupid To The Last Drop: How Alberta is Bringing Environmental Armageddon to Canada (and Doesn’t seem to Care). His previous books include the bestselling The Road to Hell: How the Biker Gangs Conquered Canada (with Julian Sher), which won the Arthur Ellis Award for best non-fiction crime book in 2004 as well as the 2004 Book of the Year award. He also co-authored the bestseller Angels of Death: Inside the Bikers’ Global Crime Empire, which has been published around the world and translated into five languages. He is the winner of two National Newspaper Awards for investigative journalism and three Prix Judith Jasmin awards for journalism in Quebec. Mr. Marsden was born in Germany, grew up in Kitchener, Ontario and now lives in Montreal. |
