Saskatchewan, Canada ![]() Terry Rigelhof is the author of eight books - two novels, a novella, a collection of short stories, a book of essays on writing in Canada, This is Our Writing, a brief biography, George Grant: Redefining Canada, and two volumes of memoir, the second of which Nothing Sacred: A Journal Beyond Belief was published on May 2, 2004. Two of his books of fiction have been translated into French and Les éditions de la Pleine Lune recently purchased French language rights to Nothing Sacred: A Journey Beyond Belief. Westmount, Quebec resident, Terry was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan and studied at the Universities of Saskatchewan, Ottawa, and McMaster. Currently at work on a book about the Calgary-born, Winnipeg-reared, Montreal artist Philip Surrey and his mileau that draws from conversations, interviews, and papers deposited in the National Archives with support from the Canada Council in association with the Department of Canadian Heritage. He has served as a juror for the Governor General’s Literary Awards, the QSPELL Literary Awards, the Saskatchewan Book Awards, the Alberta Book Awards, the Books in Canada/Amazon First Novel Award and Danuta Gleed Literary Prize.
