Anne Simpson lives in northeastern Nova Scotia. In 2004, her second poetry collection, Loop, was nominated for the Governor General's Award and won the Griffin Poetry Prize. She has also written Light Falls Through You, a book of poems, and Canterbury Beach, a novel. Her second novel, Falling, is forthcoming from McClelland & Stewart in 2008.
