Trevor Strong

Trevor Strong was born.  At age four four he dictated his first book, “The football Players of Knockingham” to a daycare worker. This, like all  his future works, never found a major publisher.  His first show-biz break came when, at age fifteen, he landed the job as mall mascot Eddie the Bear. He had tasted the sweet fruit of glory--there was not turning back.

Trevor attended Queen’s University in Kingston where he majored in changing his major and soon fell into a group called the Queen’s  Players who performed cabarets in the Engineering Pub.  Over the next four years he wrote, directed, and performed in almost every show.  Then, he and some friends started recording comedy bits for campus radio.  The Arrogant Worms was born.

Trevor also started writing for radio and television. He wrote the script for The World Stupidity Awards at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal and several of  his Very Grimm Fairy Tales were published in This Magazine.

One day Trevor looked into his soul and found nothing. He realized that all his previous efforts had been shallow and self-serving. He decided it was time to make a difference...it was time to save humanity.  He wrote Get Stupid! Humanity has yet to thank him.

Trevor lives in Toronto with his wife, his son, a good cat, and a bad cat.
