Michael Trussler teaches English at the University of Regina, where he is also chief editor of Wascana Review. He's published poetry, short fiction and literary criticism. His collection of short stories, Encounters (NeWest Press), was the recipient of the City of Regina Book Award and the Saskatchewan Book of the Year Award in 2006. His poetry appears in Fast Forward: New Saskatchewan Poets (Hagios Press) and Hagios Press will publish his first poetry collection, Accidental Animals this fall.
