He has lived on the Queen Charlotte Islands, Newfoundland, various Gulf Islands, the Bruce Peninsula and – for the last few years – in Southwest Saskatchewan. His first publications were poetry, and he still sometimes performs as
a poet, but he is best known for his short fiction (White Lies; Wormwood;
Waking in Eden; A Traveller Came By; ) and a novel, Selakhi.
A new collection of stories, Begging Questions, was published last
Fall. |

Seán Virgo was born in Malta, and grew up in South Africa, Malaya,
Ireland and the U.K. He immigrated in 1966 and became a citizen 1972.
