Candace Savage is a writer, community organizer and grandmother based in Saskatoon, Treaty Six territory. She is the author of more than two dozen books for children and adults, including Always Beginning: the big bang, the universe and you (a picture book published this spring) and How to Know a Crow: the biography of a brainy bird (coming in fall, 2024). An advocate for nature, she also plays accordion in the Saskatoon Fiddle Orchestra.
