Jeanette Lynes’ fourth novel, The Paper Birds won the Fiction Award at the 2026 Saskatchewan Book Awards. Her third novel, The Apothecary’s Garden, was a finalist for a High Plain Plains Book Award and three Saskatchewan Book Awards. Jeanette’s first novel, The Factory Voice, was long listed for The Giller Prize. Jeanette’s non-fiction book, Apron Apocalypse: Lyric Essays is forthcoming from Thistledown Press in fall, 2026. Jeanette directs the MFA in Writing at the university of Saskatchewan.
