Sid Marty is an author, poet/musician and freelance writer. He has published five books of verse, five nonfiction titles and numerous articles in Canadian magazines. Marty's poems have been included in school reading texts and poetry anthologies. He is a long time conservationist and noted for his writing on environmental issues. Sid lives with his spouse, Myrna, at the foot of the Livingstone Range in southern Alberta.
